Route

Welcome to the 100,000 Steps Challenge Map page! Here you’ll find our “suggested” route, consisting of two loops of 50,000 steps each. But if you’re feeling adventurous (or just like the scenic route), feel free to deviate—this isn’t GPS jail, it’s about the steps, not the destination.

This event can be done at your pace, walk, run or a combination of both, it’s up to you.

Teams can switch off wherever they choose, though we recommend swapping every 12,500 or 25,000 steps. Teams can also run/walk together or relay style, it’s up to you.

Remember, you’re in charge of all your own supplies, so pack accordingly! There won’t be any organized supply stops along the route, so bring snacks, water, and maybe a few motivational speeches to keep you going. Happy stepping!

ROAD SAFETY RULES

Safety first! During the 100,000 Steps Challenge, we ask all participants to follow these key road safety rules:

  1. When on the road, stick to the shoulder and face oncoming traffic.
  2. Be sure to stay visible—bright clothing and reflective gear are your best friends, especially in low-light conditions. A head lamp for the early morning start is highly recommended.
  3. Obey all traffic signals, stop signs, and crossing guards, and watch out for vehicles at intersections.
  4. Headphones should be used with caution so you can stay alert to your surroundings.

Let’s keep the focus on fun and fitness while staying safe!
